Linking tourism to nature conservation.

Portugal Wildscapes is a tourism initiative with a positive impact on ecosystems and local communities. A percentage of the revenues of tours sold by our members, activities organised by Portugal Wildscapes and funding from our members is directly invested in nature conservation initiatives.

We believe that nature tourism can be responsible.

That Southern Alentejo has unique characteristics to offer unforgettable outdoor experiences.

We believe that those who visit us, want to leave a positive contribution. And we believe that with the private and public sector acting together, we can protect our natural diversity, our cultural lansdcapes.

We work with businesses, landowners, local authorities, government bodies and NGOs to bring enable species and habitats to benefits from tourism activities.

The initiative Portugal Wildscapes is managed by a non-profit organisation Portugal Secret Nature – Association for Tourism and Nature Conservation, based in Almodôvar. Our action span across the entire region of the Baixo Alentejo (Southern Alentejo).

Together with our members, we work to offer you unforgettable outdoor experiences, and give you the opportunity to contribute directly to nature conservation projects in the region, through the Portugal Wildscapes Conservation Fund.
